Qualified Accountant
We are looking for an experienced accountant to join us on a permanent basis.
As a senior accountant within the practice your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Preparation of accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and charities
- Completion of statutory audits
- Review and reconciliation of UK VAT Returns
- Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and returns
- Mentoring trainees
- Assisting clients with accountancy and book keeping queries
- Preparation of business plans
The successful candidate will
- Have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
- Experience in an accountancy practice is desirable but not essential
- Have good communication skills with both clients and colleagues
- Demonstrate a high level of technical ability in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and accountancy packages
