We’re excited to be expanding our team and are looking for an experienced accountant to join us on a permanent basis.
As a senior accountant within the practice your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Preparation of accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and charities
- Completion of statutory audits
- Review and reconciliation of UK VAT Returns
- Preparation of personal tax computations and returns
- Preparation of company tax computations and returns
- Mentoring trainees
- Assisting clients with accounts and book keeping queries
- Preparation of business plans
The successful candidate will
- have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accountancy firm
- be able to manage their workload effectively and meet deadlines
- have good communication skills with both clients and colleagues
- demonstrate a high level of technical ability in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and accountancy packages
- have good attention to detail and the ability to present working papers files to a high standard
